FREE Seminar- “Learn Yoga The Old School Way”

mysore-pic6Learn Yoga The Old School Way” is a free seminar open to our members and to the public.  Those who attend this seminar will learn more about a self-practice and what “Mysore” classes are all about.

For a little insight, Mysore style is the most traditional way to learn Ashtanga Yoga (Eight Limb Yoga) which was founded by a man named Pattabhi Jois from Mysore, India.  Students are encouraged to maintain a regular practice (2x per week min.) to learn a set series of postures that help forge a body that is strong, flexible, and powerful.  Yoga is a practice that helps unify the body and the mind as one and this particular practice of yoga, Ashtanga, certainly helps to attain this bind between the two.

“Learn Yoga The Old School Way” will give students an insight to what a deep and committed practice is all about and what they can get out of this practice.  Those who attend this seminar will also have the opportunity to experience this method of learning Ashtanga Yoga with a one time free access pass to Thursdays Mysore class.

The seminar is Friday, Sept. 25th, 6:15-7:30pm.
