Intro To Ashtanga Yoga: Fall Session

This 8 week series is an introduction to the practice of Ashtanga Yoga. Students are highly encouraged to join this series as a great way to become familiar with this dynamic physical practice and with the Primary Series, the first of 6 in the Ashtanga system and to deepen your current yoga practice.  Students will learn the benefits of yoga, breathing techniques, sun salutations, standing postures, and seated postures.  Alignment and geometry of the poses will be broken down so that the students can feel more connected to the poses.

Series  begins Monday, September 14th from 7-8:15 pm.  We will meet for 8 consecutive Mondays, each class building off one another.

Students who participate will also have free access to Thursday’s morning Mysore Yoga class, 8:15-9:45!

Pre-registration is required.
