Intro To Ashtanga Yoga Summer Series June 24th-August 12th

This 8 week intensive series is an introduction to the Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga practice.  Throughout this course participants will learn about the history of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga and a little bit about the philosophy behind this 8-limb practice.  Beginners are encouraged to join this series as a great way to become familiar with this dynamic physical practice and with the Primary Series, the first of 6 series in the Ashtanga system.  Students will learn the benefits of yoga, breathing techniques, sun salutations, standing postures, and seated postures.  Alignment and geometry of the poses will be broken down so that the students can feel more connnected with the poses.

The Intro to Ashtanga Yoga Summer Series begins Wednesday, June 24th from 7-8:15 pm.  We will meet for 8 consecutive Wednesdays, each class building off one another.
